Balfour Beatty Wraps New Health Sciences Building at Santa Ana College

SANTA ANA, Calif.鈥擲outhern California design-builder Balfour Beatty has completed work on the Health and Sciences Building at Santa Ana College, a member of the Rancho Santiago Community College District. The $58.8 million structure replaced the former Russell Hall, with future room to expand the school鈥檚 Health Sciences program.

Over three stories, the 55,563-square-foot building houses such programs as occupational therapy, nursing, fire technology, EMT training and pharmacy technician. The new building contains 20 classrooms plus offices, labs, a library, lecture halls, simulation labs and meeting rooms. Each floor also provides students with study and group meeting areas.

In addition, a new parking lot has been fashioned, with ports for electric vehicle charging stations included.
